Graduated in Statistics Master, I worked for 6 years in a subcontracting company. My practice of photography goes back to my childhood.
Photographer is since 6 years my job. I travel the world with my camera and reveal you my vision of what I had the chance to admire. I am also here to help you, individuals and professionals, to tell your story, to promote your brand, to reveal your business.
Biography
Born in 1982 in the South-West of France, I discovered photography at the age of 10 thanks to a Haminex 110 DF offered by my mother. This camera allowed me to discover the beauty of the world through a lens.
Much later, I discovered the darkrooms, the smell of the products, the touch of the paper, the technique of silver development, the game of masking. The total control of the creation of a photo allows me to become aware of all the complexity of this profession.
I moved to Rio in 2019, where I lived for 6 years. This change of life allowed me to appreciate the travel, the change of scenery, the newness. I discovered a new culture, a new way of seeing and approaching things.
Artistic approach
The photo will remain linked to my experience; more than a result, it is in my eyes a story of textures, sensations and feelings, but also a source of inspiration, a way to travel, to make discover or rediscover places through my point of view.
Each situation is unique with different issues and complexities. My job is to translate into images what you want to say, to transmit, to show.
Nowadays, with the development of computers, everything is becoming digital: the physical object tends to disappear in favor of the immaterial, while the photo should remain as an object in its own right so that we can manipulate it as much as we want, that we can have it in front of our eyes, that it can defy the passing of time.
